Her ultimate career goal is to become a vivid hair specialist, but she finds joy in all aspects of hairstyling, from dramatic color transformations to precision cuts and everything in between. For Melia, hairstyling is about more than just the end result—it’s about creating a unique, personal experience for every guest and ensuring they feel cared for, seen, and confident when they leave her chair.

Melia is a proud graduate of the Aveda Institute in Jacksonville, where she refined her techniques and developed a deeper appreciation for Aveda’s holistic approach to beauty. Choosing to work with Aveda was a natural next step. She resonates deeply with their mission of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the thoughtful, personalized care they offer each guest. Outside of the salon, Melia enjoys spending time with her husband, especially when they’re exploring nature, getting lost in a good book, or diving into one of their favorite video games. She’s also a proud cat mom to two adorable felines, Twila and Luna, who keep life at home cozy and full of personality.
