Makenna is originally from Kentucky and made her way to Florida a few years ago, first living in Sarasota before settling in Jacksonville. She’s currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at the University of North Florida, balancing her studies with her passion for the beauty industry.

Makenna began working with Aveda during high school, where she quickly connected with the brand’s mission, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to clean, naturally derived ingredients. That early experience sparked a lasting interest in the beauty world and a deep appreciation for helping clients feel their best.

When she’s not in the salon, Makenna loves to stay active and on the go—whether she’s exploring new spots around Jacksonville, spending time outdoors, or enjoying live music at a concert. Her friendly energy and passion for wellness and beauty make her a great addition to the team.
