Kaylan grew up in Jacksonville and earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida (UNF). After practicing counseling, she followed her creative passion to The Aveda Institute, drawn by Aveda’s focus on natural ingredients and outstanding guest experiences.

Certified in Bellami extensions, Kaylan loves creating updos and event styles, vibrant fashion colors, lived-in dimensional color, balayage, and long layered cuts. She delights in helping clients express their individuality through hair artistry.

When she’s not behind the chair, Kaylan enjoys time with her husband and two daughters and loves thrifting for unique antiques and vintage furniture to refinish.
