With over 15 years of experience in retail management, Nicole has honed her expertise in managing teams and driving operational success. She is an integral part of our leadership team and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to creating a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and business profitability. Nicole’s role at Zinke combines her passion for leadership with her drive to learn more about the salon industry and Aveda’s mission, which she deeply supports.

Originally from Traverse City, Michigan—known as the Cherry Capital of the World—Nicole moved to Colorado 11 years ago to pursue her love for the outdoors and the vibrant Colorado lifestyle. She currently resides in Broomfield, Colorado, with her boyfriend and beagles.

Nicole’s extensive background in retail management has provided her with the skills and knowledge to successfully navigate the challenges of managing a fast-paced environment. She is passionate about fostering a work culture that not only focuses on profitability but also prioritizes employee well-being and satisfaction. This unique approach makes her an invaluable leader and someone who is constantly striving for excellence in every aspect of her role.

In addition to her leadership skills, Nicole is deeply committed to education and personal growth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with an emphasis on Organizational Development and Communications from Colorado State University’s Global Campus. This education, paired with her extensive experience, ensures she brings both practical knowledge and a strategic approach to her role as General Manager.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nicole is also an active volunteer, dedicating her time to supporting developmentally disabled individuals. She assists high-functioning adults with developmental disabilities in finding meaningful and gainful employment through specialized training and workshops, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.
