Originally from Sacramento, CA, Petra made the move to Colorado to pursue her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado Boulder. Drawn to the beautiful scenery and vibrant community, she quickly fell in love with the area and found herself inspired by the dynamic beauty industry in Boulder.

Petra’s passion for health, wellness, and ethical practices led her to choose to work with Aveda, a brand that aligns with her values of sustainability and cruelty-free products. Her commitment to supporting brands that prioritize environmental responsibility and kindness to animals is something she deeply believes in, which makes her role at Zinke Hair Studio the perfect fit.

As Petra nears her college graduation in May of this year, she is excited about taking the next step in her journey and pursuing a career in marketing. She’s eager to apply her skills and creativity to help businesses grow and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

Outside of her professional life, Petra is a true advocate for self-care and enjoys maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She loves practicing yoga to stay grounded and mindful, diving into books for personal growth and relaxation, and spending time outdoors hiking through the stunning Colorado landscapes. Petra also cherishes her time with her dogs, who are always by her side, providing endless joy and companionship.
