Level 9 Stylist/Color Educator

Caitlyn is originally from New England and decided to move back to sunny Colorado in July of 2020 with her boyfriend and their dog to be closer to the mountains.  Even though she was originally pursuing a degree in fine arts at the Art Institute of Boston, she found her calling to harness her artistry through the craft of hairstyling at the Aveda Institute of Denver in 2011.  After graduating from the Institute, she then moved back east and worked at the same Aveda Concept Salon for 8 years and quickly grew from assistant to master stylist and in-house color theory educator for their new talent educational program.  Caitlyn truly connects with Aveda’s mission statement, specifically, “to the ways in which we give back to society.” Caitlyn quickly moved into the position as our in house color educator.  She teaches all of our in house color classes for our new stylists. We are so grateful that she shares her knowledge and passion with the team.

Throughout her career, Caitlyn has continued to stay educated under top artists such as Lupe Voss, Geno Chapman, Gerard Scarpaci and Jon Reyman among others in NYC, LA, Boston and in-house at her previous salon.  She believes in staying educated in order to stay on the leading edge of her industry and to bring the freshest approach to her client’s hair needs.  She loves making her guests feel amazing inside and out.  She also enjoys educating her guests about the best products that fit their hair needs and individualized at-home routines.  Although she enjoys the full spectrum of services within the craft of hairstyling, Caitlyn specializes in natural, low-maintenance dimensional colors for blondes and brunettes as well as in effortless bridal styling.

HOBBIES: Hiking with her boyfriend and doggo, live music, running, skiing and snowboarding, and awesome food.
